4Life Transfer Factor Recall and vinpocetine
Customer question: Does Transfer Factor Recall contain vinpocetine? I do not see it in the ingredients. On the American manufacturer's website is shown.
Vinpocetine is an alkaloid obtained from the periwinkle (Vinca minor L.) - a common plant throughout Europe. Periwinkle is a herb extremely rich in various healing alkaloids and many of them can be overdosed.
Vinpocetine is used as a medicine in the treatment of neurological and mental disorders of the cerebral circulation, and also as an adjunct to disorders of memory and concentration.
Vinpocetine is approved for use in dietary supplements in the USA, therefore it was included in the original 4Life Research dietary supplement aimed at a healthy brain and nervous system, which is 4Life Transfer Factor Recall ( recall stands for memory, reminder). In many places around the world, however, vinpocetine is not available in supplements, such as Canada, New Zealand and Australia, where authorities - while recognizing the undoubtedly scientifically proven beneficial therapeutic effects of vinpocetine - prefer to be safe from the risk of overdosing.
In Europe, vinpocetine is available only by prescription as a medicine. Therefore, although in the American edition, originally 4Life Transfer Factor Recall contains vinpocetine with periwinkle, the manufacturer - 4 Life Research - was forced to modify the recipe by introducing 4Life Transfer Factor Recall to the European Union. Therefore, there is no vinpocetine in the European product.
The recipe of the supplement was adjusted so that 4Life Transfer Factor Recall in Europe was as successful as in the US. Works without vinpocetine!
