Should you take breaks when supplementing with Transfer Factor Classic?
Customer question: I’ve been taking the supplement Transfer Factor Classic continuously for two years. Should I take a break?
To begin with, it's important to emphasize that Transfer Factor Classic is not a drug. It is a dietary supplement based on colostrum (bovine colostrum). It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease and does not replace medical advice. Any health concerns should be discussed with your doctor.
As a distributor and long-time user of Transfer Factor supplements in my family, I can share my personal experience. Personally, I have never used Transfer Factor Classic continuously. I have always taken it periodically – whenever I felt the need. I usually continued supplementation for 7–14 days and then paused until the next need arose.
I’m not aware of any particular limitations regarding the long-term use of Transfer Factor Classic, but for economic reasons, one may choose so-called pulsed supplementation – every other day – or supplementation in two-week cycles (2 weeks on, 2 weeks off).
It's also important to care for other pillars of immune support, such as a proper diet and limiting sugar intake, which has been shown to temporarily reduce the activity of immune cells.
